The 1st International Yoga Day was celebrated with gusto around the globe but the site at Rajpath, Delhi was one-of-its-kind. Thousands of people gathered at this place to celebrate this day. Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with several renowned people from different parts of the world also formed a part of the event and practiced yoga asanas here.
Institute of Management Sciences (IMS), Gurha Brahmana Patoli, Jammu celebrated International Yoga Day on 21st of June, 2018. At the outset, Prof. S.K. Gupta Dean Academics welcomed the Yoga Expert Mr.Ravi Kant Gupta, Prof. J.R.Dhotra, Dr. Rekha Gupta Director IMS, other faculty and staff members of the institute. Prof.Gupta explained in detail the importance of Yoga and the celebrations on International Day. There after he requested the Yoga expert to initiate the process. Mr.Ravi Kant Gupta, after explaining the role of Yoga, practically demonstrated a number of aasans. He further requested the gathering present there to regularly perform various aasans of yoga and make Yoga a way of life Prof.S.K.Gupta thanked the Yoga expert, the management and the staff.
